Destination of the famous sailing Rolex Fastnet race. it is off the coast of West Cork, Ireland. The lighthouse is situated on top of the Fastnet rock. It is a famous Irish sailing landmark on the wild atlantic way. Also known as the “Teardrop of Ireland”. It is the last piece of land Irish emigrants saw, as they left Ireland, to cross the Atlantic sea to America.
